I thought it was just some light hearted mischief with a bit of a laugh at my own expense.

Your right it does look like that. Its quite a powerful RIB which is great for fast stability on rough seas, but not really designed for slow river cruising.
Its almost impossible to keep it straight going slow.

I drive high speed FRC's at work... Jet boats FTW! hehe

Try steering it less if you want to go in a straight line. And a killcord.

No killcord, no lifejacket, (no sunscreen I suspect :-) and probably no training or insurance? The only thing he did right was buy a RIB instead of a jetski, therefore only a 98% d*ckhead :-)

Far too much steering input for a outboard at low speed, no wonder it was wandering.

Full lock right, full lock left, full lock right, full lock left, OK the steering arm won't seize up but christ you make driving a boat look hard work!
