Military helicopter crash-landed with a technical defect

Feck me!

Sat waiting to take off in a lynx and I'm chatting to the pilot over the headset. He says, "do you know a d swaine". "yes he's in the other lynx", I reply.

Small world out there for the swaine brothers.

Really?

I'd heard it was a hydraulic issue which forced the landing and that it only combusted once it was down. It was initially described as a heavy landing........
