Check out how the Brazilian police deal with drug dealers, health and safety seems not to be a concern

An interesting contrast to the family of that Brazilian guy who was shot in a tube station. Had he been shot in Brazil they'd have shrugged and walked away. But because it happened in the Land of Free Money and Schmucks they screamed human rights and compensation.
Yes it's exactly the same.Except he was innocent.
Although they sometimes get it wrong: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-4wTv8J7SI
http://www.pprune.org/archive/index.php/t-136180.h... Sussex Police have used their helicopter to chase people smugglers in the past. I also believe they have used it to stop a light plane from taking off, by hovering just above it.

When I lived in Gibraltar the Spanish Guardia used Helicopters when chasing the smugglers in the speedboats, and if the smugglers wouldn't stop they used to come down on top of the boat.
Apart from the Guardia Heinekins shooting them.
I remember a case where a cigarette smuggler was killed when his boat hit a wave and bounced into the helicopter's skids. Occupational hazard I guess.Apart from the Guardia Heinekins shooting them.
