Thinking of going round the island, slipway and mooring need
Discussion
Thinking about taking a trip round the IOW in out trailer sailer this year. Can anyone recommend somewhere that we can launch the boat and spend a couple of nights. Boat has got lifting keel but is quit difficult to launch, so needs to be a pretty decent slipway. Also need parking for trailer and car. Cheers.
Lymington has a very decent public slip right next to the royal lym yacht club.

Warsash is good, wide, trailer and car parking too.

Steep is good for us, don't get the car so wet.
The drag with Lymington is the drive through the new forest first form the motorway. Mostly it's long straight roads but you have to navigate through Lyndhurst which is a couple of sharp corners assuming you're coming from the M3.
