Interesting visitor overhead

Hi all,

About half an hour ago, walking past the window I spotted an interesting visitor in the skies. It looked like it was towards worcester. Never seen one flying before, wonder whats its doing around here or where its based.

Here are some pics for you, sorry about the quality, it was a distance away and quite foggy.

It's been around a couple of years. I think it is based at Cardington. Goodyear have a long history in both making and operating dirigibles dating back to the 1930s.

I have seen one on and off over the years. Cheltenham gold cup is on. Was.

Been working at the Cheltenam Gold Cup Meetibg this week - I believe it was over the racecourse this afternoon.

Spotted it again over Wolverly, near Kidderminster on saturday too, right overhead so got another shot.



Seems its going to be doing a safety tour.

Yep, spotted it right over my place Bewdley on Friday last week.

It's often used at sports events as a way of getting overhead shots. My dad was lucky enough to blag himself a ride in it one day after it had been to Cardiff to cover a rugby match.
