A bit sad, but very interesting.

I always loved the Shuttle, they were compromised in design but were a proper space age looking craft, something you'd expect to see in a sci-fi movie.

I hope NASA get back into manned missions again soon, but I suppose that all depends on Congress.

There are at least five manned spacecraft under development in the US at the moment. All is not lost.

What we won't see again is anything as shonky as the Space Shuttle.

The shuttle is what you get when the military is involved with the design. Think of it like:



In space. Impressive how much of them they're recycling though.
