Jet2 737 from LBA to AMS taking a curious flight path

While I was having a nosey on FlightRadar24 earlier this evening I noticed a Jet2 737 flying from LBA to AMS (LS205/EXS205) make an interesting deviation en route. I'm only guessing that it initially turned to line up for an approach to AMS from the South and was then told to head North instead for an approach from the other end. What do folks think?

Jet2 probably managed to hire these two, and further compounded the error by rostering them on the same sector.
The erratic track is as a result of them beating several shades of crepe out of each other.
Actually, you should read Neil Williams "Airbourne" - James Black, who is still knocking around the place, was the British Aerobatic Team manager for one of the early trips to the USSR back in the seventies, and as such as required to sit in the back of an AN-2 acting as shepherd for the UK team in Soviet airspace, and was treated to a full-on proper smacking-the-stuffing-out-of-each-other from the flight crew en-route. They had probably been drinking the Soviet-era avgas though - terrible stuff, not even a slice of lemon and some dry ice could make that muck palatable.
