There would seem to be little or no NE London Met Police Helo activity tonight too, unless they're operating in 'Stealth' mode.

BBC news says that a Bond helicopter - doesnt specify the type - has ditched in the North Sea just after 12 midday.

All 14 people on board appear to be safe, well & awaiting rescue form their life raft. Looks to be have been a controlled ditching into the sea.

Hope all ok - Bond are a local company to me hence the post.

It's not just the Air Ambulances, it's all EC135's, as my mate flies the police helicopter in South Wales and their one has also been grounded. Apparently Bond have 22 EC-135's operational, or not, at the moment.

I live right next to the Gower (Swansea) and it is weird not hearing helicopters ragging it about the place.

Drove past Staverton airport the other day - quite a few helicopters on the ground outside the Bond office which is unusual.

No idea what models they are as my knowledge of helicopter types is limited.
