Sopwith Triplane??

Ok, I'm either going a bit loopy or my aircraft rec skills aren't what they used to be. But........
I just heard a lovely sound of a 'radial' flying over and looked up to see what I can only describe as a Sopwith Triplane. It was a bit of a distance away so I cannot be sure but I could clearly see 3 sets of wings. It looked to be in a cream colour which is also wierd. And it looked a bit big for a Sopwith Tripe.
The only triplanes I know of are the Sopwith and the Fokker Dr1, were there any civillian types?
Perhaps it was the Fokker Dr1 that nosed over at Duxford but in different colours?

Where abouts did you see it? Shuttleworth in Bedfordshire has a couple of Tri planes in its collection and they can often be seen around that area.
