The hammer under the passenger seat is the 1st thing I saw, what a beaut, you could punch a hole straight through the bottom in one swipe with that if needs must!

here's mine, full main and spin running dead downwind when a 35 know squall blows through, not one of my smarter moments. Still, it is not a bad attempt at a marine handbrake turn

We even managed to hold onto second on that race

If you look carefully, you can just make out the Bowman (Mastman?) Hanging on like grim death. Can't quite see if he has brown trousers though

think it's mast, we were actually coming back up there, went far enough over to slap the mast in the water! Plus side is water temps are 23c so quite pleasant!

All inland boats need a lump hammer for the bashing in of mooring stakes. Indeed the clink-clink of hammer on stake at the end of the day is a well-known symbol for bar-opening time
