RV8 Anyone?

So I;ve always been interested in getting myself a little project, whether it be a boat, plane or a car. After a flight in an RV8 about a year and a half ago, building one is something I've become extremely interested in. Anyone here built/own on of these fine beasts, and if so, whats your opinion of someone taking on one as a part time project?

Yes, RV8s are lovely things. Especially when wrapped in Blackpool's finest mild steel tubing and fibreglass
