Yes, it's a composite and a partial reconstruction using numerous bits from Halifaxes and Hastings (which was a direct descendant of the Halifax).

I saw it myself recently, very lovely. Looks as if it could take off right now, shame it won't.

It's a nice little place there, lovely seeing a Nimrod up close. A chap there was telling me it's a 100% live aircraft with low hours on the clock so I wonder if it could be put into action if we ever really, really needed it (which I hope we don't).

Lovely Buccs and Lightning too... and Harrier... and everything there!
