Not sure if this is better here or in holidays and travel, so please move if appropriate.

It's my mum & dads 65ths next year and we're thinking about getting them trip down to the IoW for Cowes week.
Can anyone recommend me somewhere to book them a day out on a boat to watch the action up close? All I can find so far is corporate hospitality stuff, crew spots on one of the racers (would appeal to my Dad, less so my mum) or a trip that sails from Hamble (they'll be staying on the IoW, so not really suitable).

Budget wise, looking at £400 - £500 for the two of them.

Thanks in advance... smile

How about a RIB charter?

A blast up to the Needles first, then watch the start line fun for the big boats.

I actually went out for a trip with them last time we were down there, great fun smile

Looking for something a bit more sedate for the old folks though.

For £500 they can have a day out on mine, I'll even clean the heads first.

Joking aside, what about a day on Sheildhall or Blue Funnel from ocena village?

Something a bit more sedate you say?

A day out on a 65m square rigger perhaps?

Can't do Cowes Week next year, but other summer dates possible.
