Firstly because it's a brick and secondly because the guy can't count. 175hp each engine.

I wonder what price it's supposed to be? £3,850 is silly cheap, and a possible typo for £38,500 seems far too much - it should be about £20K.

It's on http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/offshore-cruise... for 3,500.

Something dodgy going on, it should be £15-20,000

Many ads on that site are photos of someone else's boat lifted from a genuine ad either there or elsewhere. Price it cheap enough and you will entice a bid from someone with no knowledge of boats who will be happy to pay a deposit before seeing the boat, which the cheeky fraudster then trousers before disappearing.

Surely even a Cro-Magnon would suspect there is something wrong with a £20K boat at £3,850?

If I was trying to sell a boat fraudulently I would at least make it look convincing!

If you look at all the pictures in the ad put up by the OP , you will spot one of those classic ashtrays on the table in the saloon, the ones that you stub out on and then push the button to whizz the butt into the container below , that piece of kit alone must be worth £3,850 !!!
