Drove over Woodhead Saturday AM and spotted a pair of black civvy looking helicopters on the ground near Torside reservior Crowden anyone know why they would be in the area?

I live near Holmfirth. Think they have been helping with Footpath building or some type of carrying work. Seen them a good few times on the Woodhead pass.

As said by previous poster they are carrying gravel etc to relay paths over the moorland and other general renovation work. Often see a white German reg Huey doing the same. Fantastic machine

The german reg Huey is usually parked on the road that goes from Woodhead Pass to Glossop in a field towards Hadfield/ Padfield!
