Interesting how much movement there is in the flight path, especially the 747 which was all over the place!

Really surprised me just how much they do move on finals, look so graceful and smooth in ral life ( well normally)

No need to spend 4 minutes watching the Vid , go to Richmond Park on a clear day and you can usually see up to 5 aircraft on their final approach .

Good clip. Looked like a turbulent day; there's not usually that much rock 'n' roll on approach, although the time-lapse exaggerates it.

It looks epic from the cockpit BTW. Only jump-seated into Heathrow, but getting vectored towards the ILS with about 4 jets visible ahead all being intermeshed onto the localiser on a nice morning at 0800 was pretty cool.
