£5+m in scrap steel alone; the generator sets, engineering plant, etc. all have resale value, then there's nutters who will pay a fortune for a piece of branded china, a spoon or the decor of a cabin.

I read £20m scrap value.
There is some company/consortium who want to return her to London, they have apparently offered the same for it.

They would have loved the refit in Southampton in the late 90s then, we threw everything, including the contents of the onboard shop, into skips. Mind you, a lot of things didn't even hit the bottom of the skip they were filched so fast.
