A mate has just called me to ask if I knew of any good long term parking deals on airport at Luton in July. He mentioned something about promo codes??

He doesn't want to have to park anywhere that requires you to leave your car keys with the parking monkies.

Anyone help please?

Thanks in advance

Can't help with promo codes etc but your mate could try

www.parkatmyhouse.com

I used that web site a few times when commuting through Luton.

A also used airparks, had to leave the keys there but never had a problem with them, cheap, reliable and regular runs to the airport.

I've always used Airparks too as they seem to have the better deals - not that cheap compared to other parking airports IME, but parking at Luton appears to be at a premium and as said above, they do the job!

Last I looked (about 18 months ago) it appeared that it was possible to park at Luton Parkway much more cheaply, but it didn't appear possible to reserve a space in advance, and I'd left it ultra-late so I didn't have a chance to investigate any further/ run the risk of turning up and not having anywhere to park with a flight to catch - it's an option that might be worth looking into!

Have used Airparks at Luton (booked through APH) several times. Never had a problem (tempting fate!) and always been a decent service.

I usually book through BA.com worth a look as they have some good deals.

Try the FHR link about a third of the way down this page: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-airp...

If you Google for codes on on-airport parking something might be found. There was one last year that, according to comments, worked fine and was offering 90% off!

Sadly Luton Parkway isn't an option for him as he has to be at the airport at 4am (an hour before they open) and doesn't get back until 2am (2hrs after they close).

Thanks for the suggestion though, may prove useful in the future.

In case it's of any use got an e-mail through from Airparks this morning with a 10% discount code - WM035.. Dunno if will work if one hasn't already got an account and been sent the mail, but it may be worth a try!

Although I've just remembered this: I drove the car to Airparks Luton with a known tyre seal issue a few years ago... It was visibly down on pressure (of the order of 5-10psi_ when we got back).. No complaints, as ultimately it was my fault for having a defective vehicle on arrival and no damage was done, but the fact they didn't bother to do a visual check and put some air in having moved the vehicle for collection might worry those who are precious about their car!)
