So that's the spy plane rather than the band. Noisy bugger, looked awesome though just before he dissappeared in to the low cloud.

I'd imagine he's off to have a gander at Algeria.

Hang on there's some men in black suits just outside the office.....

Cool - in the late 80's they were a common site in Cambs and always make you look as they are a very odd shape. Where I live now would be under their old flight path.

TR1's were often stationed at Alconbury during that period. It was funny to watch them tip-toeing around the airfield with those little stabilizer wheels under the wing tips and a support car.

Strange old bird the U2, Algeria is what 3 or 4 hours flying time south, so someone should be geting live pictures from the gas terminal about now.
