Blimey, judging by the fuss you'd think it was another Lockerbie.

'Dorset Fire and Rescue confirmed an extractor fan was completely damaged'

Is that why they have "dumped" 4 boats on the Medway? Went to my boat at Victory Marina yesterday, and there were 4 of their monstrocities there. Total value about £8M, just moored up on the pontoon. Couldn't they read the "No Visitors" sign?
Pah! Plastic rubbish.

Cue Huntsman to agree with me, please.....

Hi I'm Al
Have just joined up so new to this.
Well I work actually in the yard an being a fire Marshall got involved in sweeping the boat for people in the smoke. Good fun.
They are saying that a extractor fan caught alight so electrical fault mmmmm but no damage as of yet to the boat.
Can keep you updated.
Have a meeting later today.

Thanks Al and welcome to PH.

It would be interesting to see what caused the problem. A few pics wouldn't go amiss. smile

Are those 4 on their way back to Poole after the London boat show?

PH is great. There's always a 'roving reporter' on the scene of any drama...

You joke,

I think that 7/7 was on here and into it's second page before BBC/Sky released their first 'newsflash'!

The same with the refinery exposion near the M1. IIRC it was at 6.00am and at 6.01am a thread appeared called 'What was that bang?' hehe

"On their way" after 2 weeks? No security, just moored in the river?
