Keeps flying over - at least 3 times now, about every 30 minutes. Quite low, too - perhaps 2000ft?

Are we expecting someone?

We used to service them in Cambridge, might have been in for work and being air tested.

Not to do with the servicing ... I'm currently working for the company that used to service them and I'm pretty sure they aren't coming in.

Back in Loughborough I saw one doing circuits, so could be training, even from Mildenhall maybe.

Are they still based at Waddington?Mum and Dad live near by so when visiting with the kids (grownup now)used to go over to see what was around .I can,t work out what some more amazing than seeing the Vulcan or my eldest nearly wetting himself as it flew over the road at the end of the runway, seem to remember the traffic had to be stopped!

An E-3 should be a regular sight in that neck of the woods as you're pretty much right under one of the UK Orbit zones. We see one up here a couple of times a week...

There are often USAF AWACS at RAF Mildenhall that overfly Cambridgeshire
