On a recent long-haul flight I enjoyed the "Argo" film, which has won so many plaudits and presumably has Oscars on the way. I didn't know the story (and I assume it's very exaggerated), but I was aware of the disastrous attempt to resuce the remaining hostages three months later and was half-expecting that to form part of the film.

Therefore I was rather surprised to see that no mention whatsoever was made of this important episode in the summary at the end of the film. Has there ever been a proper film made about it?
