Just logged on to post up the same.

There seems to have been a lot of locomotive programs on TV just lately and I've enjoyed all the ones I've seen as I have an interest and admiration, but no knowledge at all. Looking forward to this!

Yes, I search and try not to miss any railway related TV stuff.

I'm a 100% transport enthusiast. I am old enough to have seen 60103 earning its keep back in the early 1960s when I worked near Kings Cross Station in London. I used to 'bunk' the nearby Kings X Locomotive depot and see these magnificent machines and the even more impressive ones ( to my eyes ) at Camden Depot nearby. All quietly hissing and steaming away waiting for their next turn of duty.

The 'Blue' Prototype Deltic put in an occasional appearance too.

That is often the case with subjects some viewers have a better grasp of. Even so, some superb images from a bygone era which are still very fresh in my memory.

That alone made it good watching for me. Twice.

I thought the way they lingered on the photos was great - it gave you chance to take it all in rather than being rushed through for a change. It could also be they were really short of material but I'll give the editor the benefit of doubt

Now you know how us aviation nerds feel about much of what is shown about aircraft on TV. Be thankful for small mercies.
