I heard back from them earlier this week saying I've prgressed to the aptitude testing =)

First tiny step but hey, at least it's in the right direction

In Aberdeen? I know a load of pilots up here, including chief pilot at Bristows. Top blokes. You better get a taste for whisky if you don't already, they're proper pissheads.

Possibly, although the Shetlands sounds like the more likely option. Unfortunately the conversion course is at somewhere called West Palm Beach. I've been scouring the map around Aberdeen and can't find it anywhere, weird

Sooo, a bit of a late update as I found out pretty much two days after my tests.

I have been selected for interview in London after scoring 139 on my aptitude tests at Cranwell. The date is the 21st May, and the original application said that winners are announced in May, so I should be able to give you the final chapter of the story pretty soon.

Fingers crossed hey lads.

Interview was on Tuesday at 11:30, I didn't think it went very well at all...

I got confirmation this morning that I was SUCCESSFUL!

I GOT THE SCHOLARSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CAN HARDLY TALK!
