Was, until the rig threw itself over the side 7 minutes in to the Caribbean 600!

Gutted is an understatement....

That was you? Small world.

We'll be there, playing a small supporting role as usual.

It's my first Bucket, very excited!
Very much looking forward to racing alongside the J's.

Aside from the racing I'm not too sure what to expect - what are the evenings'entertainment like?

Hi LD, were you at the 600? I was on Liara, a 100's rig makes a large bang when it decides staying upright is too hard..

What you on for the Bucket!

We were at AYC watching, not directly involved. I'm on the support ship for a little J boat beginning with H.

Who made it then? - It was rough out there today. Three out of three so far for the monkey god!

Any chance you can bung some photos up? Who's out at anchor watching/mothership?

Will do when I get a chance. Many 100's to sort through from the various snappers around here. Usual suspects out and about, and I've decided if I ever buy a boat, Bystander will be it.

yes As you may have seen, I put Bystander in the Superyacht thread as a favourite. Beautiful bit of design.

Can't wait to see the photos.

I'm on the bow on Blue Too - first overall day one, cracking start for race two but a cleat blew of the main mast and smashed a crew member in the back forcing a retirement . After a visit to hospital he got the all clear - very lucky guy.

seeing the J Class fleet racing is something I'll never forget.

Ok, bit of a cheat this one as a) It's from the BVI's last week and not the Bucket, and b) I didn't take the photo, but I thought you guys might like it anyway.

Win number 4! From a slightly more distant view point!
