As per title. Will be going there and wondered if forumites knew of places worth a visit?

There's not much. There's a museum and viewing gallery near Narita airport, which seems to be designed mostly to provide something to do when your plane breaks and you have an eight hour delay (ask me how I know). It's got an 'assembly of stuff' rather than a curated collection. Shuttles from the airport, so easy enough to get to.

There's one out from Shinjuku, been a long time since I was there but I'd say about an hour/90 mins out. Smallish and mostly pre-1950's.

There are probably others dotted around but it's not a big attraction. Everyone wants to go to Disneyland.

Private aviation in Japan is miniscule. It's hard and expensive and not many people do it. If you are or have access to native Japanese speakers then you might be able to phone around and track something down, but it's nothing like Europe with a grass airstrip near every town with a small club who will take you up.
