Likewise I'm not exactly qualified, still looks a tad dangerous though. Looks bloody great fun though!

The first thing I thought when watching that video was "stay on target", looks good fun. My biggest worry would be the landing gear scraping the water.

It's skill until it goes wrong, then It's stupidity. However, as long as he only kills himself, good luck to him.

No different to what the RAF boys did in WW2 with the low flying Mosquito's & Lancasters.


If he knows what he is doing then its ok. If he doesn't he will kill himself one day - hopefully without taking out any innocent passengers.

The wide angle lens makes the trees seem closer than they are. If you look at he shadow, then you see he has several metres clearance each side.

Skilled+stupid in equal measure.

Rules of the air state you both turn right, nothing is mentioned about possibility of trees being in the way though.

Though they had a good reason to fly low - risk of being detected by radar or worse was greater than risk of flying into ground, so it was the least risky option as opposed to matey above taking the most risky option.
