Hyrail vehicles - Something interesting I've been working on
Discussion
As it's in keeping with both the Train topic and general PistonHead appeal, I thought I'd share what I've been working on recently:

Until I came to Australia last year, I'd never heard of "Hyrail" but its really popular over here with many hundreds of km of rail line being a long way from the nearest road.
In England, if you wanted to get a truck to site near a railway line, you just drive along the road and maybe across a field at the very end.
We do all sorts of interesting things from Toyota Landcruisers to even bigger trucks than this one.
Its very interesting stuff from an engineering point of view and it seem that at last I've managed to find a use for the "skills" my dad thrust upon me while train-spotting with him as a child!!
