Looking for a pair of 600mm s/s handrails for the boat. I'd like the kind that bolt through, preferably 18mm diameter and round section not oval (to match the others). Can anyone suggest a supplier please?

East Anglia, anywhere near Ipswich?
I can highly recommend Foxs marina ltd, their stainless department, ask for Martin.
Made me some brilliant custom bits biggrin

Sadly not, the first has external fittings, the second is oval. I suppose that would do, but why are they oval? All the other handrails on the boat are internally fixed and 18mm diameter round.

Re Foxes, only 10 miles away but even if they sell them, they will be top price like all chandlers.

The 18mm is the difficulty as most through bolted are a larger section.

Or I can put you in contact with a SS fabricator for Sunseeker although I believe a minimum order of 1000 or so may be asked for.

Have you thought of asking Mr S where the originals came from as I doubt they are unique and probably imported. If you can't face talking to him then check the thread ends and I'll guess they are imperial meaning states.

Thanks Mr M; I could go to 25mm but only two are needed not 1,000 (though maybe I could sell the other 998 to Mr S?) I really can't be bothered to slug my through to him for such a trivial question; I'll save it for something major like the engine falling out.

I like the Chanderly Barge ones, or maybe this (but oval): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stainless-Steel-316-OVAL...
