Lanc, Spit and Hurricane flyiing low over Sevenoaks

Went over Crowborough as well today, apparently I missed them going over yesterday. Heard some fast jet fly over, however going so fast I didnt have time to see what it was!
Edited to add that my daughter tells me it was the Red Arrows, although I wonder if I heard the Typhoon, and missed hearing the Red Arrows.

I was playing cricket down in Pevensey on Saturday (I play for Rotherfield).
As we left our home ground the Lanc and fighters came over heading south - wonderful sound of 6 Merlins (with possibly a Griffon in there somewhere!)
However, the real treat was being able to see all the displays from Eastbourne Airshow during the game. We had a good 25 minute spell of the Arrows, followed by a Hawker Hunter in a holding pattern right over our heads. Saw something huge in the distance too, but couldn't tell what it was.
Watched a programme about the Blue Angels the other night - excellent, but couldn't help thinking there should be 10 of them!
