Glad everyone got out ok. You got to wonder whether they will start to modernise their fleet, cant be economical to keep those old birds in the sky.

DC-3s are pretty tough birds. Age is not usually a factor in accidents that befall them.

They have had a few incidents now though. I see they bought another Electra off of Air Atlantic, I think that's as modern as there fleet will get. Love the programme, new series has just started.

I think the environment in which these aircraft are used would test any aeroplane, no matter what its age.
