Ladies & Gentlemen, there's nothing to worry about...

Saw this over the house a short time ago:



Never seen a contrail like that! The plane was visible, still at a good altitude, but we don't live under any regular stacks (I'm in Kent, east of LGW, south of STN). Wonder whether there was a sudden requirement to return to the airport?

Well I'm at West Malling, amazing if that's visible from Hants!

The aircraft is doing high level circuits all over the place. it's on flight radar 24.

I watched it from Bournemouth do a R/H turn somewhere NW of here.

That was the first place I looked but couldn't see it. What is it and what's it up to?

Apols if that came out wrong, I genuinely meant amazing if we can both see it from that far apart! Or maybe the plane did the same near each of us.

Showing as a Bombadier global express GLEX. just south of gatwick at the moment, People in that other thread I linked have identified it as a RAF sentinel. No idea what it's doing, spying on someone I guess.
