Beluga at Liverpool

Just having a quick shufty on flightradar and noticed it there. Is it a scheduled stop, bit of erratic holding patten. Just curious really.

They fly over Liverpool all the time the Airbus plant is only over the water, could just be one of those things on flightradar, there's nothing on twitter from LPL, they usually tweet this stuff.

Spend enough time on FlightRadar and you'll see plenty of strange holds. Often stuff holing in one place and then moving elsewhere to hold a while longer. The Belugas are pretty regular visitors too.

I live under the SW exit from Hawarden and noticed the same yesterday as the Beluga landing from the SW. When it got over Penyffordd, it made what appeared to be a missed approach as it was set up to land and then accelerated away onto the convoluted route shown. I then watched it on FR.

I guess there was something up at Hawarden to prevent the landing.....
