Just seen this on YouTube. A superbly executed forced landing. I'd like to think I'd be that amazing in a similar situation, but I'm honestly not sure I would be! Maybe by the time I've got my PPL.........

as the guy in control is in the right hand seat i would imagine he is instructing the guy in the left seat and took over when the donkey stopped. he was as cool as cucumber though and an excellent result, hat off to the guy.

There's one of an A36 Bonanza making a forced landing just after take off, the plane was a write off, but the pilot did a very good job of getting his passengers on the ground safely.

Another good one is the plane landing on a road with traffic, after landing he turns into a car park and parks the plane.

Look at the right-hand seat guy's fist on the control column as he's touching down - that grip would crush wallnuts, no messing.

Looks like the audio was deliberately wiped: I'd love to hear the dialogue...

I don't know if luck is a factor in these landings but I am sure the pilots make their own luck.

So it wasn't ripped out of his hand on impact I expect. Not that the control surfaces would be doing much after that but you wouldn't want to plant your face on it.

That could have been very much worse! Not a very large choice of landing spots. So much for the glide clear rule!

Did you in your career have a chip on your shoulder against anyone who wasnt Biggles? You pop up regularly with your 'in my billion hours of flight experience' chatter in a bid to make a point. We get that you have done more time in the air than at work, now move on.
