The pocket money fund has a few pennies in it and I am looking at a chart plotter for my tablet (Nexus 7). Most of the reviews I am able to find are a few years old.

I use memory map for the OS maps, but would prefer something vector based rather than raster.

Does anyone here have experience / views of Navionics, mxmariner, memory map, Marine charts any others?

Thanks

wetny

Navionics is quite good. I have never used it on the water but i use it to check tides and currents before i go sailing. Has got good coverage for the price.

I've got the navionics one on my iPad, worked very well, even as a backup.

Links with the new Raymarine stuff as well, so you can course plan at home and upload to the plotter on board over the wifi connection.

For £40-odd or whatever it is, you can't fault it.

Navionics purchased, and played with a little bit - wrong end of the season though sadly.
