Passed Dayskipper Shore Based, Recommendations For Practical

Hi. I passed the shore based course yesterday, I am looking for somewhere to take the practical. I live in the midlands so I am expecting to travel anyway. Three of us want to take it together. We want to keep the cost down but don't want to sleep in the saloon or share a cabin if possible. Are the Gibraltar companies any good? Instructor needs patience though.

Where are you planning to go sailing after the course? I'd do the course where you will be doing the majority of your sailing.

We normally sail on the Solent with the trailer sailer. We are a bit fed up with all the work involved with our boat, so chartering seems to be the answer. Hence the course.

Can recommend BOSS in the Hamble - excellent outfit, and they really make you work for your certificate...
