No need in fighting the wind, go with it until the very last minute. A few good Concorde Vids on youtube in similar circumstances and a few aborts too

The 2nd one was how the first one should have ended. The 3rd one looked reasonably controlled all the way down.

Yes - notice how the wind is so strong it's blown the engines from the wings to the fusilege for the second one, and back from the fusilege to the wings for the third one?
