Your initial post seems to presume that:
1) We (collectively) know just who you are
2) We know what a Bristow Scholarship is
3) We want to follow your American adventure for reasons that may be obvious to you, but maybe not others
I sincerely wish you every success in your endeavors and hope that you enjoy your time in the US - but I don't think I can be arsed to periodically check-in to see how you are doing.
So my conclusion of vanity was harsh and ill-considered (perhaps) - so humor me - why do you feel the need to share this with complete strangers?

I suspect Ed posted the link here because he got a lot of replies to a thread earlier in the year about applying for a Bristow scholarship, with a lot of people expressing interest and wishing him well with it.Your initial post seems to presume that:

People posting blow by blow pics of man cabins that they have built, restorations, journeys made across Europe and beyond, keep them coming. I, for one, am glad that people can be bothered to do this.
