From another thread regarding the amusing reg. - I like to think I've seen just about every aircraft - but I don't recognise this type? Although it looks slightly microlighty - I thought the reg would be a G-M something - still really like the look of it!
I think they are Italian. they've been around since the 1970s at least.
Microlights are no longer registered automatically with an "M" prefix. They slot into the normal sequence or can be allocated a "special" reg - like that Partenavia.
No photo I'm afraid but yesterday I was at Gloucestershire airport (ex RAF Staverton) and saw light aircraft taking off that looked slightly the worse for wear. It's reg was G-SHED. I thought it was quite appropriate.
