With the cost of cameras/screens, does this make sense for normal commercial fligts in the future?

How much do you think a private Biz jet will cost?

I doubt it, unnecessary and heavy.

Supersonic aircraft windows have a lot more to deal with than conventional aircraft besides the actual speed, temp range, aircraft expansion. Didnt concorde windows have both complicated demisting and cooling systems just for a 6" porthole?

Don't forget the airsickness angle - if the body gets conflicting physical and visual inputs people get very unwell. It's not carrying fighter pilots, just the public.

Isn't it easier and cheaper than having windows? It's actually a poor mans window letting in no real light.

Imagine a conservatory or loft in your house with no real windows just LCD displays. Pretty grim really.

I meant on commercial sub sonic aircraft, I can certainly see the uses on supersonic stuff.

I can see the benefits from the structural point of view, with no need for multiple holes in the side of the fuselage

But think of the advantages - summer all year round (apart from the obligatory white Christmas), and with a flick of a switch you're in the Bahamas!
