Best air show to see 2014?
Discussion
I see your in Sussex, you have Eastbourne down the road which is free and they normally have a good lineup, the other year you had the Belgian F16 which each day would fly in with another display, seeing a spitfire and F16 in formation was pretty cool.
If you want a mix of great flying display and a very big static lineup you can't beat RIAT, I'm just hoping the US choose to come along this year.
Bournemouth is probably one of my favourites on the airshow calendar again it's free and there's so much to see and do.
Farnborough has a lot of civilian displays but they now close the trade stands on the public days.

Yeah, we'll go to Eastbourne as per usual but thought I'd take him to somewhere bigger as well.If you want a mix of great flying display and a very big static lineup you can't beat RIAT, I'm just hoping the US choose to come along this year.

RIAT looks like the one, thanks

The Swiss put on a large airshow every 10 years and the last one was a blast. This year, it is to be spread over two consecutive weekends....

I should wait and see the show list for the Canadian Lanc.
I would have thought Waddington or the late Duxford show
Apparently the Canadian Lancaster will be here for a month, displaying from mid-August. I'd put money on her turning up at Eastbourne with the BBMF.I would have thought Waddington or the late Duxford show
I guess Duxford in mid-September would fit well with the end of her UK tour too although I'll be going to East Kirby just in case she goes there too, so I can get a taxiing Lancaster and two airbourne in the same shot ....
