Boat Trailer Breakdown Cover

Hi. My breakdown cover does not include the trailer other than recovering it if the car breaks down. Does anyone know where I can get cover just for the trailer?

Wasn't it an option when you insured the boat?

I found www.craftinsure.com very helpful; might be worth asking.

I am still looking for insurance, picking the boat up next Sunday. I have not seen breakdown cover offered for the trailer.

Paul, when you find insurance read the small print, I had a wheel bearing that collapsed and the holiday insurance wouldn`t cover it because the trailer had not been serviced by a marine engineer. What a lame excuse, I always greased the bearings and the rollers after it had been used, normally a bearing will rumble when it`s worn, this one just failed with no warning and it was about 6 months old. Hope you manage to find something, regards.
