So any time Sunseeker come out with a new model Eddie Jordan seems to be the first person they call, and invariably he buys one. So to carry on the tradition he has just taken the first delivery of one of these:

I know he made a few bucks out of that old F1 lark but it’s nice to see the BBC is keeping him in the manor he has got used too;)

So he ran a second-division team for a bit, and sold it, and then did some commentating.

Where does he get his loot from?

Wrong Jordan.
Eddie made a load of money in banking, then ran an F1 team that he sold for a load more money.

So he didn't run the Jordan F1 team that found Schumacher?

I refuse to read the DM how dare you even suggest it, saying that my sarcasm radar should have picked it up.

Trust you are well Richard.

fairly simple and logical arrangement.

company wants to build a new boat but doesn't want to bank roll it. mr jordan steps in and bank rolls it in exchange for getting it super-cheap... boat gets built... 18yr old sons of arab oil barons then buy them retail at the london boatshow as a means to ferry their gf's pet chiwawas from ibiza to palma and back... mr jordan ends up flogging his hull no.1 for stacks less than the retail cost, but still broadly in line with that he paid for it... everyone happy!

(obviously, we will step aside from the £10-15k per day running costs)

Good, I was quite sure there weren't two people called Eddie Jordan. But I hadn't realised he was a loaded banker before starting in F1.

Not sure how accurate this is, but did not realise he was THAT wealthy!

I saw this beast in Poole 10 days ago or so.

It's fecking huge.

It also made me hate Jordan a bit more.

Enquires were made, for 12 of us in 6 cabins it would only set us back 200,000 Euros a week to charter it.

I've googled and nothing says he was a loaded banker before getting into racing. It says he became a bank clerk but that hardly sounds like the Wolf of Wall Street!
