Typhoons in the air today?
Discussion
Both today and yesterday I have observed something I believe to have been a Eurofighter Typhoon flying above Swansea, heading North/Southish. I believe them to have been Typhoons purely because of the volume generated. They were at a good altitude but still making a hell of a noise and as far as I could see there was one on its own on both days. The normal RAF stuff we see over here normally fly in twos or threes, whether this means anything or not, I do not know.
Any way of knowing if I am right or wrong?

That is a hell of a plane. I remember seeing it at the Lowestoft Air Display (last year i think) and watching it approach, nose up and seeming to almost be standing still, just before the pilot gave it the beans and it shook the whole beach. Tremendous. I want to see it again somewhere this year.
