Just making a coffee a few minutes ago, when I heard an unfamiliar (yet vaguely familiar) sound in the air.

So I stepped into the back garden, just as a Navy Lynx flew over, headed North, crossing the M3 close to Jct 4A, looked to be to the West of Blackbushe too, so I don't think it was headed there, nor to/from Odiham.

Pale grey paint, circular 'radome' under the chin, distinctive 'toe out' main gear legs. A bit far inland for the FAA, no?

Not that unusual. Farnborough is only 30 odd miles in s straight line from the sea. I remember taking off from Blackbushe once and being able to see the Isle of Wight as we cleared the tree line.
