Free view channel 48 Aeroplane documentaries

Yesterday there was a one hour programme on the Shackleton, today the Bristol Blenhiem. Enjoyed both, they are old films so probably been released previously but it could be worth recording.

I see there is a listing for Hawker Siddeley Nimrod on Wednesday and the Hurricane on Friday.

I caught one a few weeks ago on the Vulcan which was quite interesting, though obviously quite dated. My guess is it's one of those £1.99 videos, but it was interesting nonetheless. I enjoyed watching one of the designers in suit and tie climbing in and flying off in one of the prototypes.

That was Roly Falk, Avro's chief test pilot iirc....
