Wonder if people know the history of this aircraft? - this isn't specifically a quiz, well in a way it is because I'm interested if anyone on here can indentify the location, however I'm keen to know more about this photo, taken not a million miles away from me in Wales.

It's Martin Mariner GR Mark I, JX103 at the Saunders Roe Works on Anglesey.

Didn't take long

I knew it was at the Saunders Roe works near Beaumaris, but until I saw this photo I didn't realise that the RAF operated the Martin Mariner - have since googled it - interesting stuff, thanks!

524 Sqn operated the Mariner on a trials basis in late 1943 from Oban in Scotland before reforming as a Wellington Squadron at Davidstow Moor in Cornwall.
