What aircraft did I see today?

This over Liverpool today circling round for quite a while, small airliner size, dark in colour raised wings on the tail and engines on the fuselage at the back, didn't show up on flight radar so RAF?

It's an RAF aircraft from Waddington using the callsign 'Snapshot 1'. Based on a Global Express I think.
