I was in Bishops Cleeve this afternoon just before 3pm and I saw a couple of low wing monoplanes flying in the distance heading (I think) toward the Gloucestershire airport / Cheltenham area. One of them may have been a Spitfire. anybody know what they were and what they were doing?

Stuck in the never ending queue on the A1 Saturday we were treated to an overpass by the Battle of Britain flight, certainly made sitting in the heat worthwhile, later the Lancaster returned on its own, quite low and an awesome sight watching it fly over and away from us in the clear blue sky.

BBMF's spitfire and hurricane displayed at woodhall spa, Newbury and Gloucester airport today before landing at Kemble. They leave Kemble at 1410 tomorrow before a flypast at Builth wells then back to Kemble.
