F15 over Margate

Just had 2 F15's fly quite low over our office in Margate, then back over in the opposite direction about 10 mins later, never seen an F15 in flight before let alone all the way down here in East Kent. Any ideas where they were from and what they were doing?

Hopefully they're going to start shooting the fkers who don't clear up after their fking dogs

I thought they were using A10's for that

They will be from RAF Lakenheath. 48th fighter wing.

So that's what tore the air asunder whilst we were having a spot of lunch in Dover... by the time we looked outside the cafe they were just a couple of dots disappearing into the distance.

Reading around, apparently newly posted USAF pilots often come down this way on the "White Cliffs Run".
